Framing views
The Ijsseloogpavillion is a pavillion to be built on the rim of a silt depot. The building hosts exhibitions about watercleansing. The location has extraordinairy views of the lake, the depot enbankment and the depot itself. These views are framed by the building subsequently showed to the visitor by its architectural routing. The three compartiments are put together and shaped to capture much sunheat inside during winter and little during summer. With the addition of solar panels, durable wooden cladding, rainwater collection, and plant filters it makes a very sustainable pavillion building.
